Russia: Analysts’ opinion about Heineken’s acquisition of Taranov brewery

The analyst Van Lanschot believes that Heineken acquiring Russian brewer Ivan Taranov is a well done step, because it reinforces Heineken’s position in the Russian market which is in growth.

In order to keep up with its competition, Heineken needs to buy more in this market . Analyst remarks that Heineken’s share in Russia could go up to 14 percent while its main competitor -Inbev's has a stake of 15 percent.
